WELCOME!

We are a charitable band that has been performing for the local and wider community raising funds for charitable causes since 1937.

The band started life under the leadership of a local man, Mr Gerald Stenner, practicing once a week. We keep up this tradition today with band members travelling from Wookey Hole, Pylle, Frame, Wells and Bristol.

There is a lot of musical talent in the band, which spans the generations covering the ages from 20-85 (including an original band member). The accordion is versatile in all respects of music, i.e. classical, contemporary, timeless easy listening,as well as traditional sounds. Our repertoire includes music from the shows, (Oliver, Sound of Music, Grease, Joseph) dance music (tangos, waltzes, quicksteps, foxtrots, etc.) sing-a-longs, marches, classical and music from other countries.

Over the last 70 years we have performed at many fund-raising events and for many organisations.

We would also like to welcome you to our brand new website. The site has taken a complete transformtion and boasts a clean cut easy to follow style. Over the next few weeks we will be adding more photos to our gallery and more samples of our music.
